Shoppers Swipe is an E-commerce dropshipping company based out of Dubai, UAE. When they first reached out to us, their main concern was targeting US clients as they had selected their customers to be in the US region specifically and wanted to drop ship the products there.
They had their Shopify eCommerce store developed and had started with Google Merchant, but their account was suspended and flagged heavily over the Merchant Centre, which was also a big concern for them.
And lastly, they wanted to have their digital presence in the "Clothing & Apparel" niche in the US Market.

What is Dropshipping?

Dropshipping is a retail fulfillment method where a store doesn't keep the products it sells in stock. Instead, it purchases the item from a third party and has it shipped directly to the customer. As a result, the seller doesn't have to handle the product directly.
The most significant difference between dropshipping and the standard retail model is that the selling merchant doesn't stock or own inventory. Instead, the seller purchases inventory as needed from a third party—usually a wholesaler or manufacturer—to fulfill orders.

After a thorough discussion, we found that Branding and Marketing were the most critical concerns.

Phase 1:

Analyzing and Researching

This stage started with analyzing their Shopify store and noting the areas that needed attention priority-wise. After knowing the concerns, we started researching their competitors and creating a process through which we could make them stand out in the US market. We created a 38-rules checklist that every E-Commerce business should have. The list included all the basic to advanced features that an eCommerce business should have.

Phase 2:

Implementation/Execution

After all the research, it was time to implement those changes. The store wanted a complete revamp, so we started by changing the overall design and feel of the store. Then adding the functionalities that were missing/weren't working correctly. After completing the store, we moved to the next step, i.e., social media presence.

Phase 3:

Digital Presence

Digital presence is the most vital part of any business. Someone once said, "Social Media is your only salesman that works 24/7." Having a store isn't enough. It is essential to stand out on all social platforms. So, we started working on their social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Google My Business, and Twitter.

Phase 4:

Lead Generation and Sales Funnel Creation

After setting up everything, we moved forward to the primary and most crucial part of their business, i.e., lead generation. The first step was cleaning Shoppers Swipe's Google Merchant Center. It had various warnings and alerts. Later we started building sales funnels and other marketing channels for conversions. These funnels targeted the US Market and ran successfully in the desired areas.

Phase 5:

Setting up Analytics and Measuring Results

The final step was analyzing the over results and improving the campaigns that weren't working fine. The results were as follows:

  • In 1st month the changes were visible, and the Shopify store showed great engagement. Simultaneously Social media engagement was starting, and people were visiting the eCommerce store.
  • Within three months of rigorous Branding, user engagement increased, and our sales picked up the pace. Having less than 4-5 orders per week, now the store was converting around 4-5 daily orders.
  • After six months, Shopify store conversions were blooming. Direct custom orders over email were received as we engaged with custom-designed products. Our social media handle was getting surplus likes, and our ads reached target audiences.
